Jane McCue Lynch

Janie was born on September 29, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA to William and Rita McCue. She grew up in Rennerdale, PA, and graduated from St. Luke’s High School in 1962. After moving to California in 1964, Janie went on to obtain an Associates in Science in 1979 and Associates in Science, Registered Nursing in 1980 from College of the Canyons, and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of LaVerne in 1987. During her 38+ years in Nursing, she worked at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital where her career spanned from floor nurse to hospital administrator and finally Director of Patient Registration. After leaving Henry Mayo, she continued her career as a Nurse Case Manager retiring in 2015.

Janie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved all things music and spent many years traveling with her late husband Kevin to Jazz Festivals across the country. She was a talented pianist and spent her time taking music theory and composition classes at College of the Canyons and composed many songs written for her loved ones. Although she spent most of her years in California, she was always and will forever be a Pittsburgh Yinzer.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Rita (Hoag) McCue; her husband of 28 years, Kevin G. Lynch, and brother Terrance McCue.

Janie is survived by her brothers, William (Linda) McCue and John (Marilyn) McCue; her children John (Denise) Kohut, Jean Kohut-Alcala, Bill Kohut and Katie Kohut-Turner; grandchildren Bryan (Ashley) Thrasher, Sarah Thrasher-Batarseh, and Torrey Holmes; great-grandchildren Julianna, Rami, and David Batarseh; Dylan and Brooklyn Thrasher and Averi Rose Holmes as well as two incredibly special people Jean-Paul Bringuier and Becky Ascencio.

Janie is also survived by her late husband Kevin’s children, Craig (Margaret) Lynch, Brenda (Vince) Silvestri, Laura (Robert) Radanovich, Brian Lynch and Maureen (Chris) Vashel; grandchildren Amie Chase, Alexandra, and Ricki Radanovich; Cody and Wyatt Lynch; Jared and Tess Silvestri; Sean and Michael Lynch and Cooper and Chase Vashel.
