Javier Escalante Rodriguez

Javier was born to Amalia Escalante on May 3,1947, in San Juan Nuevo Michoacan, Mexico.

He was a hardworking man, and a provider to his family. He enjoyed planting fruit trees and sharing his goods, with family, friends and neighbors.

Javier is survived by his wife Ramona, his daughter Patricia Castillo, and Amalia Rodriguez, his son Isidro Rodriguez. Along with Diego De Jesus and Miguel Angel Rodriguez, who passed away prior to Javier's passing.

Aside from his love for gardening, Javier was passionate about giving back, always helpful to his family, and friends. Javier had a passion about homeless dogs, he would take them in to give them a home.

Javier positively impacted our community, and he will be truly missed.

A visitation for Javier will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 15, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 10390 Remick Ave, Pacoima, CA 91331.
