She received her Associates Degree from Valley College and was in employed by the United States Postal Service as a carrier supervisor.
Juanita leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Kevin Tyler of Lancaster, CA; her daughters, Carol Johnson of Lancaster, CA. and Cheryl Martin of Sylmar, CA.; her sons, Charles Martin of North Hollywood, CA. and Kevin Martin of Lancaster, Ca.; her 7 grandchildren and her 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Roosevelt Brown; her mother, Lee Ella Brown; her brother, Ted Brown and her sister, Sandra Smith.
“Juanita was a loving matriarch to her family who loved her dearly. She fought cancer for 10 long years. Her courage during that difficult time strengthened her family. She will be truly missed but not forgotten.”
