

Judith Ann Butler, 80, of Canyon Country, CA peacefully passed away on October 17, 2025 in the presence of her loving siblings. Judy was born in Riverside, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois on May 2, 1945 to Joseph and Katherine (Kay) Morrison, nee Buckley. After growing up in Chicago, Judy began modeling and briefly attended Rosary College before moving to the Santa Clarita Valley with her family at the age of 21. As a resident of the SCV since 1966, Judy was a successful homemaker, a part-time realtor, and a business owner. She owned and managed the Sandpiper Inn restaurant in Canyon Country for several years. Judy especially enjoyed collecting rare books, playing bridge and solitaire, knitting, and saying the rosary.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her son, Sean Parker, her first husband and father of her children, John Parker, and her husband William Butler (Andy). She is survived by her children Shannon (Paul) Cranston, Shane (Cristy) Parker, Shad (Patricia) Parker, and Shelly Parker, her grandchildren Cory (Sophia) Cranston, Evan Cranston, Jack Parker and Abby Parker; her siblings Patrick Morrison, Kathy Morrison, Maryann Phillips, Susan Pomeroy, Terry Allen, Michael Morrison, and Timothy Morrison, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation and rosary service with her family and friends will be held at the Eternal Valley Memorial Park on November 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be held on November 5, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Catholic Church, in Newhall CA. Burial will follow at Eternal Valley Cemetery.
