Kathy always greeted you with a beautiful smile. Kathy’s picture radiates her warm and caring character. Kathy was a devoted wife and always made you feel welcomed in their home. 
I want to thank Marva and The Family for this loving tribute to Kathy.
Rest In Peace and Love Kathy. You will be remembered.

Kathy and I have been best friends since we were 17 years old. We met as she and my uncle Robert started dating. Kathy was always sweet, while I was a bit grouchy. When someone made me upset about something, Kathy would always say, "You gotta be nice, Dee." She never stopped saying this her whole life. We would be going to the Veterans Hospital for her doctor visits, and sometimes we would be running late. When people spoke to us before we would make it to the doctor's office, Kathy would stop walking, respond to the person, even asking how they are. I would keep walking, since we were late, but no, she had to take a few extra minutes for a quick and cheerful chat. She drove me nuts with this. I miss her extra doses of kindness. The world needed a dose of Kathy.
