Kenneth Eugene Kleinberg

Kenneth “Ken” Eugene Kleinberg, born September 8, 1935 in Wynot, Nebraska to Ralph Kleinberg of Nebraska and Ellen Gregersen of Iowa. He passed away peacefully Sunday, September 11, 2011 in his home in Santa Clarita. He lived in Wynot, Nebraska, then in Compton, California and then Reseda, California. He graduated from Canoga Park High School in 1953. He enlisted in the Navy in 1954 and served aboard the U.S.S. Kearsarge. In 1956, while serving in the Navy, Ken met and married his wife of 55 years, Mary “Flo” Yaryan, on August 4th, 1956. After his service in the Navy, Ken worked for Lockheed Aircraft, working his way up in the company, ultimately becoming Director of Quality Assurance. Ken retired in 1990 after 35 years with the company.

He is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Mary “Flo”, sons; Terry and Duane, daughter Carrie (Chuck) Vahldick, grandchildren; Christina, Katie, Stacie, Kalen and Jordyn. His three brothers; Larry, Ron, Jim and sister Vicky.

Funeral Service is Thursday September 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary in the Chapel of the Oaks (Lower Chapel). Committal service will follow.
