Kenneth Stephen Kosik was born on October 16th, 1940, in Los Angeles, California to Stephen and Helen Kosik. He remained a California native his entire life. Ken attended Harbor College where he studied the trade of printing (an occupation he held until his retirement) On March 3, 1962 Ken married Peggy Sollars in Lomita California
In April of 1963, Ken and Peggy welcomed their first son, Michael. And in 1964 their second son, Timothy, was born. In February 1965, the Kosik family moved to Montrose, California, and in 1969, the Kosiks moved to La Crescenta, and never moved from that home.
During those years, Ken took part in many sports and hobbies. He was an avid bowler. In addition, he coached for the Crescenta Sports Association for twenty years. Ken also played softball in the Crescenta Sports Association Adult Men’s League.
In 1990, Ken and Peggy joined Crystalaire Country Club. It was one of Kenny’s greatest joys to spend the weekend at Crystalaire. There was rarely a weekend that the Kosiks were away from the golf course.
