Lauren Paul deRosier

Lauren Paul deRosier was born in Van Nuys, California on October 14, 1958 to his parents Patricia and Lionel (Lee) deRosier. He enjoyed a happy childhood at home in Leona Valley with his sisters Loraine and Denise (deceased).

Lauren graduated from Paraclete Catholic High School and went on to do some college, however, following his father's footsteps, he could not wait to start his professional career for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. This dream came true on May 4, 1980 when he graduated as a Paramedic for the Los Angeles City Fire Department and began work in his chosen field until his retirement on August 31, 2015 after 35 years of service.

Lauren will always be remembered as generous, funny and loving, with his mischievous smile and sparkling blue eyes. He was always a loyal friend and a loving presence to his family.

Lauren leaves behind his wife, Sarah, his son Laurent Paul and daughter in law Shauna, as well as his grandson Grayson and granddaughter Serenity, his sister Loraine and his niece Tiffany.

Lauren leaves a lifetime of memories to his family and friends, a lot of "I love you" and "I love you, brother", a lot of "God bless you".

He will be missed dearly and we will never forget how loved he made us feel.
