Member of The National Academy of Television Arts and Science
After graduation, Larry went to work for WOSU TV , where he covered remote televised OSU football games from 1965-1969
In 1969, he left and went to work for RME remote facilities, where his first assignment was to cover the televised recovery of the Apollo 12 splashdown on board the USS Hornet.
Larry’s career spanned 45 years, where he covered sporting events including CBS Sports Spectacular, 1972 Munich Olympics, 1980 Lake Placid Olympics, 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, World Series , Auto Races, and hockey games, concerts, the Tony Awards, The Academy Awards, and the Rose Parade in Pasadena.
Larry’s job took him all over the world, Mexico, Cuba, The USSR, all over Europe, South America and Canada.
In 1979, Larry moved to California, with his family, and worked on the following Television shows;
Family Ties, Night Court, Webster, Growing Pains, Day By Day, Saved by The Bell, Martin
In 1990, Larry and his partner, Tom Johnson, along with Marvin Sugarman, formed SJC Video Corporation, where Larry and Tom built and designed state of the art mobile units that have been used all over the world.
In 2007, Larry and Tom sold the company and retired.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda (Lohr) Canini

Larry had a 45-year association with his friend and business partner, Tom Johnson. Tom, along with his wife, Stephanie, were constants in his life.
