With our hearts full of gratitude and deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and devoted wife, Leyeh Oshana Khese.

Our mom was surrounded by her eldest loving daughters when she passed away after a long battle with cancer, on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the age of 90 years. A mother and wife who had extraordinary beauty, strength, and grace, Leyeh was a force of nature – unyielding, tender, loving, and surely unforgettable.

Leyeh will be lovingly remembered by her surviving husband of 67 years, Pavlosha and her children, their spouses, grandchildren and spouses, Josephine (Stella), Shoojen (Douglas, Ashton, Alyana & Adin), Romey, Caroline (John).

Leyeh was predeceased by her parents, Khameh & Alexi Oshana and all her 7 siblings, brother Yagur, brother Vardah, sister Daryah, sister Maryah, sister Mayam, brother Yoska, brother Sapari.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday, 8/17/2026 in the Monarch Chappel at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, CA with Father Joseph Kachapilly of St. Paul Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church, officiating.

Followed by a reception dinner at 3:30pm at Tesoro Del Valle Clubhouse 23721 Stoney Creek Drive Valencia, CA 91354 (Gate code: 83035, Mom’s birthdate). ~~~~Absolutely no smoking on entire campus including parking lot~~~

The Leyeh Oshana Khese family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Vincent Mendiola, M.D., M.P.H., her medical oncologist and hematologist at City of Hope's Santa Clarita, California location. Dr. Mostafa Tabassomi, her pulmonologist in Valencia, California.

Our mom’s beautiful nieces, Anya, Lida, Carmen, Alice, Nora, Flora, Anna and her handsome nephews, Gojie & Atoor.

And to our extended family, Sabri, Margaret and their beautiful children, Oshie (Klodet), Bianca (Miltan). Shimshon (Bella), Juliet (Greg).
