1917 – 2012
Marie Collins of Santa Clarita passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the age of 95. She was born on February 28, 1917 in the town of Norma, North Dakota to Fred Nelsen and Corelia Lund.
Marie Constance Collins was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She touched the lives of those that knew her by being a living example of loving Jesus with all her strength, mind, body & soul. She loved to tell others about him through her musical talents of singing and playing the piano. We are now able to say she is at peace and home with the Lord.
She is survived by her son Greg Collins & wife Wendy; daughter Marilyn Elo & husband Richard; daughter Pat Collins & husband George Bair; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Stan Collins.
A memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday November 28 at 2pm at Grace Baptist Church located at 22833 Copper Hill Drive in Santa Clarita, CA 91350.
