Mary Joy Carbajal Galvez

Mary Joy was born in Quezon City, Philippines, on June 8, 1971. Her gift for guidance and inspiration touched the lives of her family and many others seeking direction.

She finished her elementary and secondary education at Saint Paul College. Mary Joy received her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from the San Juan De Dios College, Paranaque City in 1992 and in the following year, she passed the Philippine Board exam for Nurses.

In 1994, she became a Registered Nurse in the USA by hurdling the National Council Licensure Examination-RN (NCLEX-RN). She spent 21 years, the most productive years of her life, caring for the sick, as a Registered Nurse at the Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, CA.

Mary Joy is survived by her husband Ferdinand, Sr., daughter Maria, son Ferdinand, Jr., brothers: Roy, Chat, Cid; parents Jorgette and Rogelio Carbajal.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of Mary Joy's life on February 19, 2025, Wednesday, at 10:00A.M.-1:00P.M. at the Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, California 91321.

Interment will follow after a holy mass to be carried out by a Catholic Priest.
