Patrick Joseph Fordyce

Patrick Joseph Fordyce passed away 28 June 2023 at his home in Santa Clarita California. Pat left the stage after a long period of health problems, with cancer finally ending his life at age 64.

Pat was born in North Hollywood California on January 30, 1959. During his formative years, he was living right in the heart of the entertainment industry, with several major entertainment studios nearby. He began his music-based career working at College Records in Northridge at the tender age of 14. This was the catalyst that ignited what would become a lifelong passion for Rock & Roll Music. Throughout his career he worked in various aspects of sales and distribution of Music, with the highlight being working as a Sales & Distribution Representative for Sony Music Group. His position at Sony Music even afforded him the opportunity of living & working from Hawaii for several years! Later in his career, he worked with several well-known artists supporting merchandising for their tours, and later became an Artist Liaison for a Music Group Studio in Chatsworth.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents Delyle Fordyce and Elizabeth Fordyce (Sexton) of Watertown South Dakota. Pat is survived by the following siblings: Sister Cynthia Fordyce (Carranza) of Livermore California; Sister Diane Fordyce (Todd) of Boulder City Nevada; Brother Michael Fordyce of Santa Clarita California; & Brother Brian Fordyce of Watertown South Dakota.

Pat was a graduate of Cleveland High School in Reseda California in 1976. He went on to obtain a degree from Pierce College in Woodland Hills. Pat was also a lifelong bachelor.
