

Canoga Park, California. Private burial will be at St. Andrew’s Abbey, Valyermo, California, where Paul was a Benedictine Oblate.
Paul was born to Joseph Crandell and Anna Hurley Crandell on May 4, 1928. He attended primary school at Boston Latin School, was educated
for 3 years while attending a Minor Seminary, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in Physics from Boston College. Paul worked as a Consultant in the Microwave field in Boston; later moved to California and worked in Marketing at Hughes Aircraft in Torrance.
He is a Veteran of WWII and served as a Marine in China during the war.
He married Elizabeth Superior in Boston in 1949 and raised 5 children.
They later divorced. In 1975, he moved to California to work at Hughes Aircraft and married Patricia Collins Weekley in Torrance.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Elizabeth Superior
Crandell, and 2 infant children.
Paul is survived by his 2nd wife, Patricia Collins Weekley Crandell, his 5 children, Michael(Barbara), Mark, Timothy, David(Cher), and Paula(Steve) Feener; 4 step-children, Thomas(Melanie), Jeanette, Jeffrey(Susan) and Joseph Weekley,10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and a
close cousin, Marie Grant of Orlando, Florida.
