There's so much love and joy on here for Paul and in all the pictures and memories. Paul you will be greatly missed!

Paul was 12 when I was born and I lived in the flat above Bunty and Paddy. All of the family were like my extended family, like brothers and sisters to me, but Paul being the youngest and still at home, was always so patient and kind to me. He had such a good heart. 
I must have been an incredibly annoying child, but I remember I used to go downstairs to see Bunty and play with Flossie the cat, and Paul used to let me read his 2000AD comics, and listen to his records. He always had time to talk to me and answer my many questions about everything from musicians to why the sky was blue.
I remember his smile, and his laugh, the flicky hair and those bracelets he wore in his teen years. 
All these years later I still have a love of comics and music thanks to Paul!
God bless you Paul and all the lives you touched with that joy and patience, may you be safe and happy in heaven and one day reunited with your loved ones.

Such a lovely chilly day with Paul, Carmella (Nanny), Londen and aunty Susie at a Castle in Sussex. Later we all went for lunch to Londen's  first pub in England. ❤️🇬🇧

I will always remember Paul as a true gentleman, unwavering, non judgmental, caring and loving man… one of my earliest memories of Paul was when we used to meet up in Norwood on a Sunday to play football which was at times hilarious and punishing depending on how much drink had been consumed the previous night… Also great memories of how Paul when at our legendary parties/gatherings would become overly affectionate towards everyone he encountered especially after having a few sherbets. He was  uncle to Josh & Kerrie who was well respected and loved… he will be missed but not forgotten as he’ll always remain in our hearts and minds RIP Paul Mac

Paul was always someone who asked how he could help, a truly diligent, compassionate and thoughtful man.  As a coworker he was always dependable and thorough in his work, and so many of the employees at UMG will miss Paul's spirit and character.

Condolences to Paul's loved ones, they will be in all our thoughts.

I didn't have the privilege of meeting Paul in person, but it was a great honor to work together for almost 2 years. In that short period of time, I was able to realize what a great professional, but above all, what a better human being Paul was. He never said no whenever I asked if we could have a call to clarify some questions. I will never forget your 'Cheers Henry' at the end of each call.

My deepest condolences to his family!

Paul was truly special man that will be dearly missed.  I will remember him for his love of music. We  spent many hours ,evenings days and weekends in our distance youth going to and watching bands. He was always positive and I  never heard him say a bad  word about anyone.  He will be dearly missed by anyone that knew him.

I am so sad to be writing in your book of condolence. 

I think me and Trev have known you for about 30 years, from back in the day when you shared the flat in Crystal Palace with Pete.  

So many great afternoons/ evenings out. I will always remember the countless music 'discussions' you had with Trev and the boys down the pub whilst watching a sporting event.  I will also never forget the numerous evenings spent in The Star doing Karaoke. Your rendition of Delilah will stay with me forever as will 'The Speech' at Andy and Petra's wedding!!

You really were one of the most kindest men I've had the privilege of knowing. I never heard you say anything nasty or be rude to/or about anyone.  Always very placid but with a great sense of fun and humour.  Not to mention your stylish fashion sense - loved the Union Jack shirt which must have gone down well in LA!

Love and best wishes to Carmella, Sheree and the Grandchildren who you adored.

I will miss you Paul. Thank you for being such a great friend. xx

Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Losing someone we worked closely with for years is incredibly though. Paul's presence brought light into our workplace, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Paul was one of the kindest, most gentle men I had ever met. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and brother-in-law. I have so many wonderful memories of Paul and was blessed to spend time with him, Carmella and his grandchildren and delighted in his love for his family. Paul had so much to live for and so much to give this world.  I can scarcely believe Paul has passed away. I am truly heartbroken for you all.

This is so hard to write. 

Over the years I've lost some close friends but in Paul, I lost my best friend. I've known Paul for 40 years, we met at Croydon College and bonded over our love for music.
We would go and see bands 4/5 nights a week often falling asleep on the bus home. He met the love of his life Carmella and I remember he took her to see the Ramones. She spent the entire gig at the bar, the things you do for love.

He was a kind, caring, and generous person. Never had a bad word to say about anyone, one of the great guys.
I will miss you so much, RIP Shadow.

One of my strong early memories of Paul from our childhood is when he was around 4 or 5. In those days the marching bands from Boys Brigade or Salvation Army would occasionally parade around the streets with full brass band. Paul always thought they were going to take us away and he'd block the door to stop us going out to watch them.  He cared for family and this stayed strongly with him through our lives. This manifested in later years as he embraced the role of favourite uncle to many nieces and nephews and his deep love of his family and grandchildren in America.  Paul was also the cool dude in our family, attending gigs, 
enjoying a vast array of music, chilling with a pint and a book (or once upon a time a Marvel comic) and owning his own stylish dress code, with characteristic hat. And wherever possible having fun, dressing up, playing with the kids. We missed Paul & Carmella so much when they moved to the USA but really admired them for the family commitment they made. I'll be forever grateful for the time I've spent with Paul in recent times. you are forever in my heart. Love you bro, Pat xx

Paul and Carmella at David and Jordan's Tonbridge Wells wedding celebration. It was a joyous day with lots of fun and laughter.
Jo and I feel so lucky to have spent quality time with Paul over the past two years, in Jersey City, home and in Ireland. He and Carmella are truly loved by us, our children and our grandchildren. Paul is not forgotten, nor is he absent. As the poem goes: he is just in another room and we will talk of Paul in the familiar ways and smile, laugh and cry in equal measure.

Paul loved family get togethers. I can't remember which occasion this is but I think it may have been Paul and Carmella's engagement party. Here he is with (from R to L) Jenny on Paul's knee, Natalie on Jo's knee, Mum, Nicola, Ali, Laura, Marion, David.

Each one of my children loved Paul individually. It was always a joy when he came to visit and fun was always had. Here, Laura is having some relax with Paul time during a family party.

Paul was always great with children. His gentle and tolerant nature helped children feel completely relaxed with him. Here he is in Ireland with our grandson Odhran.

Paul was a great youngest brother. As the youngest he tolerated a lot from Pat and I. Rarely, if ever, giving back what we deserved. Being mean was just not in his nature.

My brother Paul was the most gentle and kind person you could ever wish to meet. Someone said to me that Paul was unique, a word that fits him perfectly. When he went to America we were all sad, but with facetime he was never far away. Paul and Carmella were able to travel so often it felt just normal and you adjust. Paul was so happy in LA and the grandchildren brought him so much joy. We are truly heartbroken at Paul's passing. I consider myself very lucky to have so many wonderful memories. I am very proud to call Paul my brother. Love you so much your sister Judy xxx

Our Uncle Paul was the kindest, gentlest and coolest person you could ever wish to meet. He was incredibly caring, and always took an interest in what you were up to and what was going on. Growing up it was always a great day when uncle Paul popped over, especially when it was your birthday!!! 
Although moving to LA meant we didn’t always see Paul as often, he was always only ever a FaceTime away. It was so fabulous to see how much he loved being in LA, and loved and adored his wonderful grandchildren, and made visits back to the UK even more special. I’ll miss Paul so much, and miss that big hello and cuddle when you hadn’t seen him in a while. Love you so much, but feel so lucky to have made such happy and wonderful memories, and be able to call Paul our uncle xxxxx

Paul was such a big part of all our lives, a truly wonderful uncle. I will greatly miss talking about music at length with him, and am grateful for the recommendations and mix CDs of his favourite tracks he gave me when I was a teenager.  I will remember very fondly the great conversations we had together, and how much fun he always was. We are heartbroken at his passing, but his memory will be a blessing, and a reminder of how fortunate we were for the years we had with him. Paul often mentioned how lucky he was to be surrounded by such a wonderful family, I sincerely hope he appreciated that he himself was one of the reasons why that is the case.

Our hearts are literally broken at the sudden passing of our amazing Uncle Paul. When we were kids I would spend hours on his knee playing ‘shark’ and he never tired of it (or at least if he did he hid it so well!) We always felt like he enjoyed being with us - amazingly even after we tied his hair in lots of colourful bows and he had to answer the door to the boiler man with it!! And as we grew up, we felt like Paul not only loved us as his nieces and nephew, but liked us as his friends. I remember especially during lock down having wonderful video calls with him. I even went for a walk with Sherpa with him. It was wonderful seeing Paul adore his and  Carmella’s grandchildren when he moved to LA, and visits home adoring his great-nephews and niece the way he had with us. I will be forever grateful for the time in Ireland where Dom and him got to spend a whole afternoon talking music! Paul was cool!! And fun and lovely!! We will miss him forever!! We are so so blessed to have had such a wonderful man in our family ❤️

Paul was our youngest , baby brother and our whole family is shocked and devastated by our sudden parting . He will always be remembered by all of us as our calm , quiet , funny brother with his own sense of style and a great warmth . We knew we would miss him greatly when he emigrated to the USA 10 years ago and know that he loved the life he made there with Carmella , the family and adored grandchildren as well as his working  life .We  have loved his visits home and the family times we have shared since then  making new memories along the way . He loved and was greatly loved by his nieces and nephew who all grieve with us .We will all miss him forever but luckily have many funny , happy memories which have literally had us laughing out loud as we share them . Sweet dreams Paul until we meet again ……

Paul was a truly wonderful uncle who played tirelessly with us as children; chatted, laughed and put the world to rights with us as adults; and then played with our own children in the same patient way he had with us. Always gentle, kind, so much fun and so very cool. There aren’t words to express how much he will be missed, nor to convey just how incredibly blessed we were to have our absolutely marvellous Uncle Paul. Paul was a wonderful brother in law and friend. He introduced me to the joys of reading Arthur Conan Doyle and Charles Dickens! He was always utterly and completely his own person  with his unique style and personality. Funny, kind, generous and smart. While I cannot imagine a world without Paul Mac in it he has left us so many great memories to make us smile for an eternity. Thank you Paul xxx
