Richard (Rick) was an employee at our family business, Northridge Skateland, for many years. Most importantly, he was a friend. He could make me laugh so easily. His laugh was infectious. He loved Disney ( most of his life), he loved Skateland, and he loved his friends. He was patriotic and served our country. He kept his illness close and did not share it. He was a proud man…never wanted pity. 
I will always remember him for his kindness and caring. I will remember him for his sense of humor and funny stories. Most of all I will remember him as my friend.

I will miss my partner in crime while working on the road with Disney. Rick had tons of travel experience and I had none, I was so grateful for his tutoring!  We had some of the best times cruising around central FL hitting up flea markets and garage sales. Until we meet again, my friend!

I will miss my beloved friend Richard , who I have known for over 30 years. It was wonderful to see his smiling face and his joy in living. He was always up for something new, especially if it was fun. He and his partner Mike loved the holidays all of them. The house was always decorated , but the Halloween and Christmas decorations were a wonder. He loved sharing the good times with his friends an supported them when they were in need. Bon Voyage my dear friend and I hope they have a Wedge Salad waiting for you in heaven. Love always, Madeline.

I am so proud of the legacy that Rick leaves behind. Each of the AA figures that he helped to build and install have a little piece of his heart. This is the submission for the WDI time capsule that I helped him with. It's been a pleasure being his friend. I will miss him dearly.
