I first met Bob Gino, when at his Orlando gallery in Encino.  I came in to see the marvelous art work when I was a special delivery carrier for  the Post Office. I was so amazed to see such great art work in my local town and especially warmed by Bob's generous and welcoming manner. From that first encounter, my desire was to show my art work in the Orlando gallery. I'm happy to say I was able to do so, in both the Sherman Oaks and Tarzana locations. I was also thrilled to be one of Bob's collectors of African Art. Bob and Don were always full of good cheer,  
art world stories and a welcoming manner. We have all missed the closing of the Orlando gallery.  Now we grieve for Bob's light going out of our creative community.

Uncle Bob, I will always cherish our deep and profound talks on the arts and performance as well as your warm and generous soul. Your spirit will live on in all the performances and lessons I give. Thanks for making the world a beautiful place and staying in touch with our grandmother over all the years. We love you.

I love you Uncle Bob.  The memories of our family gatherings will always warm my heart.  Rest in peace now with all your family in heaven.
