I’m a DoD Civilian who was recently blessed to be able to stay overnight at a Camp Pendleton’s San Onofre Beach cottage.  We were assigned cottage #5, which is also named in honor of Airman 1st Class Robert Frank Sumoski (USAF 1959-1963).  

I wanted to share this in case his surviving family or loved ones weren’t aware of this.  I’m attaching an image of the framed photo displayed on the wall right as you enter the cottage.  I don’t know you Mr. Sumoski, but thank you & God bless. 

     BY DESIGN OR HAPPENSTANCE I'M NOT A PERSON WHO HAS AN UNENDING LIST OF FRIENDS, OR CLOSE ACQUAINTENCES. THERE IS ACTUALLY A SHORT LIST. THIS MORE THE REASON I WILL MISS FRIEND AND FORMER NEIGHBOR BOB SUMOSKI. I THOUROUGLY ENJOYED ANYTIME I CARRIED ON CONVERSATIONS WITH BOB. I NEVER FOUND HIM ANYTHING BUT UPBEAT. THOUGH WE LOVED OUR HOUSE (ACROSS THE STREET FROM BOB AND ANITA).....THE ONLY THING WE MISSED LEAVING THE NEIGHBORHOOD....WAS BOB AND ANITA. YOU'LL BE SORELY MISSED BOB..GOD BLESS. RON BELLVILLE
