1929 – 2016
Shirley Ann Wernli passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016. She was born December 8, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI. Her family moved to Los Angeles, CA early on.
In Los Angeles she met Henry Wernli and they wed in 1949. They were married for 57 years until his death in 2006.
Shirley was a preschool teacher and director, a Sunday school teacher, ran a Puppet Ministry and played the guitar and piano.
She is survived by her three sons: Larry, Paul and David; her four grandchildren: Jonathan, Zachary, Vicki and Kyle Wernli.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Eternal Valley and Funeral Services will follow on Friday, July 1st at 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321.
