Bud was born in Rolla, Missouri on October 12, 1931 to Joseph and Dorothy (Henkenius) Beydler.
He was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America during the 1960's when his son, Jim, became an Eagle Scout. In 2010, one of his grandsons, Steven, also achieved this honor.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant/Crew Chief, spending time in England, Germany, Japan and Guam.
Bud was a member of the Operating Engineers Union for many years. He worked in construction operating heavy equipment and grading land for freeways, golf courses and housing developments, including Valencia.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Newhall, California.
His hobbies included refinishing old furniture, raising tomatoes in the summer, growing roses, researching family genealogy and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Beydler is survived by his wife, Lois; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Debbie Beydler and grandchildren, Jamie and Steven; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and David Farber and grandchildren, Katie, Jake and Matthew, all of Santa Clarita. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Lillian Thompson of Rolla, Missouri, Paul Beydler of Dixon, Missouri, Josephine Roberson of Encampment, Wyoming, Billy Beydler of Springfield, Missouri and Virginia Myer of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Viewing and interment will be on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Highway, Newhall, California. Viewing will be from 12:45 to 2:45 pm at the Chapel on the Hill, Rooms A-C; interment will follow at 3:00 pm.
A memorial service will be held on December 8, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church located at 24317 Newhall Avenue, Newhall, California.
He was dearly loved, will be missed and will be in our hearts forever.
