Timothy Michael Dickey

1966 – 2015

Timothy Michael Dickey went home to the Lord on November 17, 2015. He was born on October 2, 1966 in Long Beach, CA to proud parents, Sheri and Robert Dickey. Tim was raised in Saugus, CA along with his older siblings, Alan Dickey and Robin Dickey Russell.

Tim had a lifelong love for baseball and golf, which he played throughout his childhood and teenage years. A graduate of Saugus High School, he went on to work various occupations that included ownership of a taxi company and a security/ detention officer for federally contracted security companies. Living his life to the fullest, on his days off Tim could be found riding his Yamaha Rhino 4-wheel drive ATV on the fire roads above Bouquet Canyon, where he enjoyed watching wildlife and the scenic views of the Santa Clarita Valley. He also loved fishing in his boat on the waters of the Pacific Ocean near the Channel Islands or the nearby Castaic Lake. Tim was a loving and trusting soul, who would come to the aid of his family, friends, and strangers at a moment’s notice. Simply put, he was the epitome of a beautiful person.

Tim will be greatly missed by his siblings, girlfriend Mercedes Gonzales, sister-in-law Stephanie Dickey, brother-in-law Daryl, nephew Blake Levingston, and nieces: Kelsi Levingston, Rebekah Dickey, Hayley Dickey and Jaiden Russell. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and grandmother, Jackie Pruitt.

A Memorial Service was held for Tim on November 22, 2015 which was attended by family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charities that benefit those less fortunate or sign up for organ and tissue registry in Tim’s memory (www.organdonor.gov/).
