Tim was born on July 18, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois, to Barry and Maria Dieden. He was raised with strong family values that remained at the center of his life and guided him throughout his years.
To know Tim was to love him. He was a devoted husband, proud father, loving brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Above all else, Tim’s greatest joy was his family. He deeply loved his wife, Lorrie, and was a devoted father to Nicolas, Gianna, and Mason. His family was the center of his world. Whether offering advice, lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, Tim always put those he loved first.
Tim lived life on his own terms. He was willing to take risks, embrace change, and work tirelessly toward his goals. In 2014, Tim relocated his family to California, a move that would be intimidating for most, but was a true testament to his strength, courage, and determination. He faced life’s challenges head-on and continued building a life for the family he loved so deeply.
A skilled painter and business owner, Tim spent more than 30 years in the painting industry. Through hard work, determination, and an unwavering commitment to quality, he built a successful business and earned the respect of both his customers and peers. He took tremendous pride in his work, but even greater pride in the life he built for his family.
Tim had a passion for cars, projects, and working with his hands. He especially loved his Camaro, a car that carried not only miles but countless memories. He was always planning improvements and upgrades for the Camaro he cherished, constantly thinking about the next project or enhancement he could make. He found satisfaction in building, improving, and creating, and he loved sharing those passions with family and friends.
Tim will be remembered for his infectious laugh, quick wit, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty. He had a unique ability to make people feel welcome and valued. Whether you knew him for decades or only a short time, Tim had a way of making you feel like family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barry and Maria Dieden.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lorrie; his children, Nicolas, Gianna, and Mason; his brother, Sean Dieden; his sister, Danielle; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his memory lives on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the family he cherished. Every conversation, every laugh, every project, and every memory serve as reminders that while Tim may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Illinois at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and remember a man who meant so much to so many.
