Rae was such a beam of light for all those close to her.  It was impossible to know her and not adore her. Her smile was infectious.   And her smile was never more genuine and heartwarming than when she was talking to (or about) her three daughters or her precious granddaughter - and they were never far from her thoughts. 

Rae showed me kindness and compassion in so many big, demonstrative, and subtle ways. I am so grateful to have known her and thought of her as my "second mom".   

My love, and thoughts and wishes for a "healing" go out to Amy (a true “BFF” if ever there was one), Sally (my Aries sister) and Leah (my kindred spirit as the last born, and therefore, naturally, a genius), Rae's sisters, Faye, Linda & (and fellow youngest born genius) Beth, and to Don, who came into Rae's life and brought her love and companionship.

 Rae,  It was our very good fortune to have you in our extended family and to have shared so many wonderful times with you. You were a very good friend to me. I will have many fond memories of you.

Rae you were such a gracious hostess and graceful lady...you always had a smile...we are glad Don brought you into our PWP group and that we still remained friends through the years. Oh Aunt Rae, you taught me to have girl power.  To be my own independent woman.  To learn what makes me happy, and then go out and seek it.  I admire your international travels and all the warmth and generosity you have always shed on me.  Every time I pass someone wearing an all blue outfit I always immediately think of you.  There are so many fond memories I have of you.  You light up my world and I will deeply miss you.

The world is a sadder, darker place without the lovely, ambient light that Rae carried.  To the extent that we all have been touched by that light, let us carry it in tribute to her gifts.  Her gifts of love, laughter, joy of life, adventure, kindness, generosity, and healing presence have blessed me richly all my life.  Words cannot express my grief at her loss.  Silently, I reach for the hands of all who read this that we may find comfort in each others presence.

I will miss your mom so much.  There was something so radiant and lovely about her.  Her laugh was contagious. And I love that she always had a twinkle in her big, blue eyes.  
I can't think about your mom without thinking about her with her three sisters.  I know the three of you will hold on tightly to each other...just like your mom always did.
