Mrs. Vivian Rose Johnson, born April 2,1919, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rafaele De Maio passed away in Sherman Oaks on September 14, 2013 at the age of 94. Her father, Rafaele, came to America from Calabra, Italy as a young man. He met and married Susan Gaito, and resided in Jeanette, Pennsylvania, where their children were born and raised. They moved to Los Angeles, California in 1939, where Vivian met her husband Chester Johnson and they were married March 1, 1941. Mrs. Johnson's life was rich and full raising her five children. She was actively involved in her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, who passed away on November 16, 2004 and by her son, Donald Joseph Johnson, who passed away on October 15, 2008.
She is survived by two sons, two daughters, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and other relatives.
