Dr. Wilson Paul Parmar

Dr. Wilson Paul Parmar passed away in his 89th year on February 27, 2024. Wilson was born on June 12, 1935 at Wilson Hospital in Vansda, Gujarat to Paul and Mariam Parmar. He was the youngest of three children.

Wilson studied medicine at Wilson Medical College in Bombay and practiced in Vansda until he and his family came to the USA in 1983. He is remembered for his leadership, hospitality, and generosity to all in his community without regard to anyone's social or economic status.

Wilson is survived by his daughter Regina Macwan (husband Anil Macwan), son Reginald Parmar, daughter Reena Desai (husband Pratik Desai), grandchildren Ryan Macwan, Rianka Macwan, Rowan Macwan, Regan Macwan, Caitlin Desai, and Lauryn Desai. Wilson was preceded in death by his mother Mariam Parmar, his brother Madhu Parmar, his father Paul Parmar, his sister Saroj Desai, and his beloved wife Violet Parmar.

Visitation will occur on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary at 23287 N. Sierra Highway, Newhall, CA 91321. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, followed by graveside service at 1:00 pm.

Serving as pallbearers are Reginald Parmar, Ryan Macwan, Rowan Macwan, Regan Macwan, Pankaj Macwan, and Carroll Christie.
