So sorry to learn of Benny's death. We are from the same hometown. During our tenure in Engineers club, we had talked about our hometown.

My husband, Tsvi, worked with Carl at Ft. Eustis and with Mr. Lacks when he was a  volunteer at the Transportation Museum after he retired from the civil service. We are both saddened to learn of Mr. Lacks' passing and hope that memories of happier days and knowing that they are both remembered by their friends gives you all some comfort at this sad time.

I worked with Benny and Carl at Facilities Engineering at Fort Eustis back in the 1970s. Mr. Lacks was a dedicated and pleasant coworker.
I am so sorry for your loss of Mr. Lacks. I pray for your comfort at this difficult time. Be encouuraged.

MOMA LACKS, MY DEAREST AND LONGEST FRIEND KARYLENE AND FAMILY:  I have such fond and loving memories of PAPA LACKS.  HE WAS A VERY KIND AND GENTLE MAN WITH SUCH  A GIVING SPIRIT (EVEN WHEN KARYLENE AND I CAME IN A LITTLE LATE ON SATURDAY NIGHTS).
