I didn't know Charley, but being married to one of Sissy's closest friends and witnessing the love by friends and family at his funeral, his spirit lives on in those who cared about him. I wish I could have met him as those who knew him are a testament to how he made their lives better.  Charley, may you rest in peace as your soul begins the next journey and maybe we will meet some day in a different way.

 I am so sorry to learn of Charley's passing. Though it has been many years since I have seen you, I remember the days in the "neighborhood" growing up -you were our "babysitter" during the summer and I remember thinking that you and Charley were just the coolest couple! You were truly each other's soulmate and it was even apparent way back then. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and I am truly sorry for your loss.

Charley and I went to school, played, partied, and worked a couple different jobs together in our early years. All good memories as I try to type this with tears in eyes and a void in my heart. My condolences to the family of a great man and a good friend over the decades. Much love to his family

Charley and I worked together at Singleton Fence Company he was a great guy and a very good friend sorry for your loss of such a great guy and hard worker he is who taught me to be a hard worker.

Charley had significant impact on a few lives as he grew and became a man. He was a good friend to those who knew him... but mostly, he loved his beautiful wife and that is his legacy.

Dear Sissy and family, this is a hard time for you all, but you're strong, you have each other and you have friends that love and support you.  I am one of those friends, I always will be.
