I just learned that Frances has died. Frances, along with Barbara, Janet and me were the 4 Harpersville Rd. girls... except Frances was the glamorous one at dress-up..the one with the picture hat and long, chiffon gown, the group organizer, and the one I called "Sissy".  Wonderful memories of simple joys in childhood that are forever sweet. Life takes so many twists and turns but fond childhood memories of her and "my girls" are always perfect... always comforting.  My thoughts are with you and Barbara.  My hope is that each of you will cherish those special memories with Frances.

So sorry to read of the death of Frances, we went to Clavary Baptist Church during our childhood days. We were active in GA's also. She was a lovely person and I am sorry I lost touch with her. Frances, RIP, your time and work is now done.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Frances. We were together as classmates at Deer Park and Warwick. It's sad that we lose contact with our classmates, but sweet when a name brings back childhood memories

I remember Frances being one of the nicest people in high school.  She stood out by always being quietly competent, prepared, and always kind.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I'm also sorry I haven't seen her in all these years.

Melvin, Frances will be missed. Frances served as a law clerk in the Court Legal Research Assistance Project in the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia. She planned and executed various research projects for the judicial system and for individual judges with diligence, attention to detail, and very high quality of research and writing.
