Helen was a charming, lovely lady.  We have known her for years.  Helen, Lavinia Watson and our Mom, Hallie Brantley were best of friends and we spent many delightful hours enjoying her company. She was always so helpful to Mom.  On one occasion we went to Matthews for a wedding. Helen, Donald and I spent the whole time in the kitchen, It was a lovely outdoor wedding, but we didn't get to see it. We laughed about that many times. She will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

I am saddened ti learn of her death.  As a member of her circle of Trinity U M Church Newport News, I  had the joy of many delightful visits with her.

I was so sad to hear of her passing. She was a good women whom I enjoyed working with while I was at the Gardens.
