Born November 4, 1923 in Catawba Co., he was the son of the late Dallas Fox and Jennifer Yount Fox. He was a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from Burke Oil. Clyde enjoyed walking and listening to music.
Clyde is survived by his sister, Annie LaBombard of Bridgeport, CT; special friend, Virginia Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ with Rev. Lonny McSherley and Rev. Peggy Stout officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
