He was born November 20, 1937 in Catawba County, NC to the late Guy F. Warlick and Marie Hudson Warlick. David was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church in Newton, NC.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Wesley Warlick and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Shirley Paige Warlick; a son, Jeff Warlick of Newton; grandchildren, Amberly Warlick and Maddox Warlick.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016 1:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church Newton, NC with Pastor George Gilbert officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12-12:45 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Church.
