Donald Ray Dellinger Sr., age 82, of Conover, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Donald was born February 28, 1942 in Catawba Co., NC., he was the son of Paul Ray and Lillie Faye Benfield Dellinger.
He retired from the furniture industry and was a member of Wayside Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Eugene Dellinger.
Donald was survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Dellinger; a son, Donald Ray Dellinger, Jr.; a daughter, Sarah Jane Dellinger Singleton; grandchildren, Billy Jack Singleton, Timothy Nickolas Dellinger and Latasha Singleton; great-grandchildren, Autumn Hope Singleton and Gabriel Hunter Singleton; a sister, Margie Sue Bridgeman and her husband, Jim; and a sister-in-law, Becky Dellinger.
