Donald Alexander Jordan

Donald was born December 18, 1933 and was the second oldest child of the late Harry Cockrin and Dorinda Walters Jordan. Donald worked in the wholesale of dish gardens and green plants. Donald was a US Army veteran, who served during the Korean War as a corporal in the combat engineers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bennie Jordan.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Crews Jordan; his brothers, Roger Jordan and wife, Kathleen, David Jordan and wife, Kay; sister, Linda Jordan; step-son, Ryan Edwards and wife, Kate; grandchildren, Julianne and Cora; beloved nieces and nephews and extended family.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at McKendree United Methodist Church, 3537 Maiden Hwy, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Rev. Gregg Plott will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
