Donald Tanner McClure Sr.

Donald was born June 21, 1936 in Rutherfordton to the late James and Sadie McClure. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from General Electric.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy McClure.

He is survived by his sons, Donald McClure of Newton, Jon McClure and wife, Susie, of Newton; daughter, Misty Kilby and husband, Gary, of Newton; brother, Bill McClure; sister, Annie B. Young; grandchildren, Kelly McClure, Eric McClure, Spencer Kilby, and Gracie Kilby.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 12:45 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, with Pastor Ed Yarbrough and Rev. Fred Thompson officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall of Calvary Baptist Church.
