Evie Geneva Warlick

Evie Geneva Reinheardt Warlick, 97 of Newton, died Friday, February 11, 2022 at Conover Nursing Home. A native of Catawba County she was daughter of the late Fred Herman and Jettie Geneva Moore Reinheardt. She was a very active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She worked for many years with Ethan Allen and Burlington Mills.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Clarence Lee Warlick; seven brothers: Howard Reinheardt, Herman Eugene Reinheardt, Glenn V. Reinheardt, Larry Reinheardt, Thurston Reinheardt, Irston Reinheardt, and Fred Reinheardt; two sisters: Grace Reinheardt and Wilma R. Pearson. She is survived by her son: Richard “Sam” Warlick and his wife Marilyn of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren: Kevin Warlick and his wife Rebecca, and Amanda Redfern and her husband Jefferson; four great grandchildren: Lauren, Benjamin, Jackson, and Lacy.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Newton with the Rev. Ralph Kraft officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall.
