Dear Steve, David, and all the Boone family.....Helen Boone was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the privilege of knowing. As as little girl growing up in First United Methodist Church in Valdese, she was one of our beloved "Church Ladies". Mrs. Boone had the sweetest voice, and I never heard her raise her voice in anger. This world needs more humans like her. May God comfort all of you at this sad time. Lucinda M. Watson, Valdese High School Class of 1972

So sorry for your loss! Helen was a wonderful, loving person who always greeted me with a smile and always worried about whether we had eaten our lunch and concerned about our needs! She will truly be missed! I loved her like family!

Your sweet mother/grandmother was a longtime member of the Lake Norman Garden Club. Her example in honoring and nurturing nature in our world was a high standard for all of the members who came after her.
She was gracious and kind and I know her life and her devotion to her family will live on in each of you.
Blessings,
Meg Thompson

So sorry to hear of the passing of Helen. We will be forever grateful for meeting both Helen & Walter.
We will always remember them saying that they would accept our offer on their home in Terrell, NC on one condition and that was they wanted to take us out to dinner and get to know us. Basically they wanted to make sure we would take good care of their home. They were both beautiful people inside & out! Happy to know they are reunited once again.

David and family,

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Helen sprinkled grace and kindness to everyone she met. I am grateful to have been a recipient.
