Born November 3, 1969, he was the son of the late Howard Louis Ward and Mary Hazel Goutremont Ward.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 8 years, Melanie Taylor Ward; sons, Christian “Mikey” Carswell, Braxton Howard Ward, “DJ” David James Medling, Jr.; daughter, Amber Lea Ward; brothers, William Ward and wife, Wanda of Granite Falls, NC, Clarence Ward of VA, and Darren Casse of Lenoir, NC.
A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home.
