Born February 26, 1940 in Cabarrus County, NC, he was the son of the late Fredrick Alexander Dayvault and Frances Dayvault.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Larry enjoyed fishing, watching his TV and working in the yard. He was formerly employed with Kohl’s Department Store and Zerden’s as a shoe salesman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Huffman Dayvault.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sharon Casey of Newton, two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Dayvault and wife, Kay of Taylorsville, Charles “Charlie” Douglas Swink and wife, Theresa of Lexington; three grandchildren, Michael Casey, Tabitha Gray, Avery Dayvault; one great-grandchild, Ethan Gray and one brother, Steve Dayvault and wife, Jill, of Charlestown, IN.
A Service of Remembrance will be held, Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home, Friday, June 14, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
