Born January 18, 1950 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Gillard and Edith Jarrett Pearson. Sara was a member of Hickory Seventh Day Adventist Church and had worked as a nurse for Catawba Valley Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, James H. “Jim” Bolch of the home; daughter Tara Piercy and her husband Ryan of Chesapeake, VA; brother, Dan Williams and wife Judy of Newton, NC; and sister Cathy Williams and husband Don of Vale, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Hickory Seventh Day Adventist Church. Rev. Ken Ford will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
