To the Parker family

This is arguably the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to write, but it’s hands down the most important.  At the end of the day, simple words will never be enough to describe what Seth meant to me and many others, but something still should be said.
I first met Seth at Appalachian State University.  We became friends quickly, and he soon became my closest friend while at App State and after.  We had similar upbringings and despite the one month difference in age I have always looked up to him (as I’m sure many of his friends did).  
Seth was unapologetically himself, knew exactly who he was, and cared deeply about his family and friends.  I think that’s what drew people to him… He kept a small circle of friends and it was an honor to be a part of that circle.

For me, Seth was a brother, a close friend, and a confidant.  You trusted his judgement, whether it was over a pitcher of PBR at Dirty Murphs (shoutout to our App State alum) or a simple phone call.  He’s helped me through many a struggle and personal crisis and I will never be able to thank him enough for that.  Frankly, I needed his friendship far more than he needed mine.
You will never be forgotten Seth.  I will always miss our campfire/bourbon conversations, kicking it at the Parker family farm, and the family treks through the snow at the “Parker Ski Chalet” in the NC mountains.
As a final thought, Alicia… Seth loved you to the ends of the Earth!  You, Randall, and Renn were his absolute world and I’m so sorry for y’all’s loss... If y’all ever need anything I’ll be there!  My sincerest condolences to the Parker family.  I pray that God gives y’all a profound sense of peace and comfort always!

So sorry for your loss.   Our hearts hurt for you and with you.  I remember the fun we had fishing with Seth at the farm...catching a huge catfish...the joy on his face and of course no true country boy would be caught without his knife...Seth carried his in his boot!

I'll never forget coming home to a refrigerator full of deer meat in a trash bag 😂 Seth was such a good dude, he always kept his cool, never seemed frustrated, and was the best Sunday night Walking Dead watch partner I could ask for. I'm thinking about you guys, stay strong, I can't imagine what you're going through right now. He'll be missed.
