

Seth graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Ecological/Environmental Biology. He completed his M.S. in Biology at Georgia Southern University in 2014. His recent position is at Virginia Tech's Shenandoah Valley Agriculture Research & Extension Center in Raphine, VA. He was known as an avid outdoorsman, talented artist, and devoted family man.
He will be forever missed by his wife, Dr. Alicia Reigel Parker; son, Randall; daughter, Renn; and best dog, Rancho. His loving N.C. family includes his parents, Dr. Bill Jack and Laura Sigmon Parker, and his sisters, Dr. Shannon (Travis) Evans and Aubrey (Aaka) Tamrakar. His loving Wisconsin family includes Christopher and Margaret Reigel and Randi (Chris) Roginski. He is missed by nieces Lucy, Parker, Hazel, Georgia, Alaska, Lou Maya, Briar, and Merritt and nephews Jack and Easton. Seth was blessed with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and longtime friends who remained devoted during his illness.
Celebration of life will be private on the family farm. In lieu of flowers, Seth would want any memorials to be dedicated to the education and care of his children.
