Shirley Poston

Born January 27, 1936 in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Helen Lucille Lewis.

Shirley enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elton “Buck” Leo Poston; brothers, Donald Lewis, Richard Ashburn; granddaughter, Carolyn Poston, and great-granddaughter, Caroline Furr.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, NC, with Rev. John Bremer officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.
