Ted Clark

Ted Clark, age 68, of Vale, left this world to be with his Master, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.

Born January 3, 1950, in Haywood County, he was the son of the late Aldon Richard Clark and Ruth Illika Stamey Clark.

Ted lived to preach. He loved his church, Trinity Full Gospel in Catawba. He enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren. They all loved their grandfather. When he wasn’t preaching and loving on his family, he could be found studying his bible.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard, Edward, Daniel; and 2 sisters, Edith and Margaret.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 24 years, Mary Helms Clark; daughters, Sherry, Mary, Geneva; sons, Tim, Franklin; brother, James; sisters, Violet, Martha, Pam, Pat, Connie; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home with Pastor Derwin Greeson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.

You were the best grandfather/father that i could've ever asked for. I cant believe this is real. Anya, Kyng , Mommy, Nita and Me will always cherish the memories we have and thank God we have made quite a few throughout your life and ours. Im not technically the first granddaughter but i cant remember any part of my life that doesnt include you. Not having you around is really gonna be hard to get use to. Im not sure what this family will possibly be without you but i pray you still guide us. Anya loves her PawPaw and so does Kyng as for Ky'Zir goes im sure your holding him now. Im glad yall are finally together i cant wait to join you when my time comes. Hold him tught and knkw tbat yiu both are missed so very much alaays lived and never forgotten. I love you Papa i hooe Heaven is beautiful and i hope the Angels Know What They Have!!! Sing Dance and be free! We Live You ! Your 1st Granddaughter Savannah Lynn Hall.
