Thomas Wayne Coulter

Born February 28, 1947 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Albert Sidney Coulter Sr. and Daisy Lucille Harvell Coulter. He had worked with Boggs Construction, Eckard Vending, and Carolina Glove. He enjoyed exercising at the Shuford YMCA in Conover, loved wood crafting and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Albert Sidney Coulter, Jr.; sisters Marian C. Lewis, Joan C. Boggs, Nancy C. Brown, and Sylvia C. Moretz; nephew Marty Brown; niece Tamara Moretz.

Survivors include: sister-in-law Jewell Coulter of Conover; brother-in-law Donald Brown of Conover; nieces and nephews Michael Lewis of Blowing Rock, Steve Moretz of Los Angeles, CA, Kevin Boggs and wife, Nancy of Hickory, Todd Lewis of Newton, Jenny Brown and husband Don of Newton, Suzanne Loftin and husband Eric of Conover, Chad Moretz and wife Sherrie of Vale, Trey Coulter and wife Mary of Greenville, SC, and Charlie Coulter of Conover.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the Chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.

The family will receive friends following the service.
