Alberta was born on April 9, 1932, in Fredon to the late Alvin and Gladis (Chammings) Waldron. Alberta was a devoted homemaker and lifelong resident of Fredon spent her life cultivating a warm and welcoming home. A longtime member of Christian Faith Fellowship Church, she was deeply involved in her community. In her free time, Alberta loved tending to her garden, nurturing beautiful plants and keeping her lawn neat and inviting. She had a special fondness for hummingbirds, often watching them flutter by as she worked outside. A passionate ballroom dancer, she delighted in the rhythm and grace of dance.
Alberta, was a dedicated NASCAR fan, she also had a deep love for travel, a shared passion with her husband, who was a pilot. Together with their friends, they would often fly up north, enjoying the breathtaking views of the fall foliage. Alberta was extremely involved with Blairstown Senior Citizen's group and went on many trips with her friends.
The beloved wife to the late Jacob James Broesder, Alberta is survived by her sons, Larry Broesder (Kathleen) and Roger Broesder (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Daniel Broesder (Shanna), Michelle Barz (Michael), Kyle Broesder (Marisa) and her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Luke, Jake, Jaden, Brendan, Asher, Eden, Judah and Marley.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Yellow Frame Cemetery in Fredon Township. If you would like to join the procession, please meet at 10:30 a.m. Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ.
