Alexander Plushanski Jr., age 97, of Washington Township, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Alex was born in Glen Gardner, NJ to Alexander and Tessie(Sikorsky) Plushanski April 7, 1924. Alex was raised in Glen Gardner and was a resident of Belvedere, NJ prior to moving to Washington Twp in 1962, Alex was a farmer in Washington Township for over 50 years. From 1966 to 1982 Alex and his wife Joan owned and operated the County Fresh Dairy Creamery and Grocery Store on Route 31 in Washington Township. He was a former member of the Washington Rotary Club and the New Jersey Farm Bureau. Alex enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren, He enjoyed good food, dancing and Swimming.
Alex is survived by his wife, Joan Plushanski; his son Alexander Plushanski III; his daughter Shari Bylicki (Matt); and his daughter Teresa Kaminski (Michael); his sister Alice Plushanski, his brother Fred Plushanski and his brother Hank Plushanski; his granddaughter Heather Santini (Larry), his grandson Taylor Bylicki (Courtney) his grandson Jordan Kaminski, his granddaughter Sasha Collins (John), his granddaughter Alexa Plushanski, his great-granddaughter Emma Bylicki his great-granddaughter Acelyn Santini His Great Granddaughter Lynnea Collins
A funeral service for Alex will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 from 11:30 AM at The Washington Alliance Church, 2112 Rt 57, Washinton, NJ 07882. Family and friends may pay there respects from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church Interment will follow in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery 108 Valley Road
