Alicia studied commercial arts in Cuba prior to moving to the United States in 1967. She went on to have a career as a Graphic Arts Supervisor for Atlantic Design Company for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed reading, drawing and spending time on the computer. She had a great appreciation for old movies, Spanish music and cooking Cuban food. Alicia was a big fan Asturias, Spain, but she especially loved politics and the United States of America.
Alicia is survived by her husband, Luis G. Herrera; her daughter Alicia Shillcock (George); her sister Luly Munoz; her grandchildren Gwendolyn & George III Shillcock and her nieces Marilyn, Karina & Becca.
Alicia was preceded in death by her parents Luis Luna & Margarita (Riestra).
