Charlene worked for over 30 years as a dental assistant, before retiring to a welcoming senior community at the Jersey shore with her husband, where she embraced the simple joys of life.
Charlene loved to create dry flower arrangements. Her talent and creativity even earned her a blue ribbon at the Sussex County Fair — a proud and joyful moment.
The final chapter of Charlene’s life was marked with courage and grace as she moved in with her daughter after learning of her illness. Through it all, she remained a happy, caring, and resilient soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. Charlene will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A devoted wife of 57 years, Charlene is survived by her loving husband, Emmet; her daughters Elise (Denise), and Christen (David); and her cherished grandchildren Emily, Amanda, Daniel, Aiden, and Avery. She is predeceased by her beloved mother Alice Mae Raetz (nee Gallagher) and brother James.
