Charles was born on September 5, 1958, to Dorothy and the late Charles L. Bosi, in Newton, where he spent most of his life. He graduated Pope John XXIII Regional High School in 1976 and went on to hold several positions in his professional life before finding his most recent career as an office assistant for Image Care Radiology in Hackettstown, NJ.
Charles spent as much time as possible outdoors, enjoying time with his friends and family. He flew sailplanes, went skydiving, camping, and kayaking. He even joined a group of friends on their bicycle excursion to the top of Mt. Washington, where once they reached the summit, Charles found himself in the middle of a blizzard wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt.
Charles was very fond of hiking all the trails in Sussex County, but spent countless hours on the trails in Blairstown, keeping his eyes to the trees hoping to spot an eagle’s nest. Much to his frustration, and despite his tireless searching, he was never able to find what he was looking for.
Charles was a music enthusiast. He enjoyed classic rock, but blues was his favorite genre, and he was really starting to enjoy some of the newer artists. Charles just loved the energy of live music and forever cherished the first time he got to see Eric Clapton live.
Aside from music and the great outdoors, Charles also loved bananas, Jersey tomatoes that he wished would grow all year, and fireworks. He adored fireworks and always made sure there were some to set off when the occasion called for it.
Charles is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy Bosi; his sisters, Karen Orvetz, Donna Bosi, and Annemarie Bosi; his nieces, Caitlin Christensen and Celeste Gonserkevis ; and his nephew, James Crane. He is predeceased by his father.
