David Francesco Perez Luna, born on July 21, 2006, in Newton, New Jersey, passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 19. A resident of Ogdensburg, New Jersey, David was known for his adventurous spirit, kind heart, and faithful nature. He was also hard-working and had a great sense of humor.
David pursued his education in electrical engineering at Lincoln Tech. He was employed at Anthony Franco's in Sparta and later worked for Mastertech Environmental in Denville, where he was recognized for his dedication and work ethic.
In his personal life, David enjoyed a variety of interests and hobbies. He loved playing computer games with his brothers, riding his dirt bike, and playing paintball with friends. He had a passion for old music, especially Frank Sinatra, and enjoyed singing. David was adventurous and loved exploring new places. He was also fond of working out, history, and had a deep love for God, being a member of the Iglesia Familia Cristiana Church. His love for animals and engaging conversations with people were well-known among his family and friends.
David is survived by his loving mother, Maria Luna; and his father, Francisco G. Perez Garcia. He leaves behind his brothers, Emmanuel Perez Luna (Theresa) and Yeshua Perez, as well as his fiancé, Anneliese Lopez. His grandmother, Magdalena Garcia (Alex Velazquez); his uncle, Aldo Perez; his aunt Katherine Perez; and his cousin Alexandra Perez.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm on October 15, 2025, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, NJ. Funeral Services will take place at 11 am on October 16, 2025, at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest in Newton Cemetery, 19 Lawnwood Ave, Newton, NJ following the funeral service.
David's adventurous and kind-hearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
