Diana was born in Madisonville, Tennessee, to the late L.D. and Sarah Maxwell. She relocated to New Jersey in 1964 and has called Sussex County her home for 52 years. Much of her career was spent working in sales, where her outgoing personality and ability to connect with others shone through.
Diana had a natural flair for life, embracing the world through eyes of wonder and joy. She especially loved to travel, and her trips to Aruba were among her fondest adventures. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family. To many, she was a second mother and grandmother, always taking others under her wing with kindness, generosity, and love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Diana is survived by her beloved husband Andrew Loiacono; her children Tracey Woodhead (Steven), Nicole Loiacono, Victor Loiacono (Anjul), and Lance Houst; her grandchildren Stevie Collins (Eric), Reed Loiacono (Colette), Sophia Loiacono (Sam), and Lex Davis; her great-granddaughter Aurora Collins; her brother-in-law Pat Loiacono; and many loving nieces and nephews. Diana was predeceased by her parents and her three brothers.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Diana’s memory may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860.
